Spongebob was doing his normal morning routine. He woke up, ate breakfast, brushed his teeth, and was on his way to the crabby patty. As he was walking outside he spotted something on the ground in front of his house. It was a coin, but not just any coin, it was the most amazing coin in the whole bikini bottom. Inscribed on the coin it read,”The most magical coin in the world”.

“Patrick look!” Exclaimed SpongeBob with excitement.

“What is it Spongebob?” Patrick exclaimed with even more excitement than Spongebob.

“‘I found a magic coin!” Shouted Spongebob.

“I don’t believe any of that hocus pocus crap anymore.” Said, Patrick.

“Why not?” Asked Spongebob

“Because a coin just like that made me lose my left leg.” Said Patrick in a dramatic tone.

“Wait, What?” Exclaimed Spongebob just realizing that Patrick had a peg leg.

“When did that happen?” Spongebob asked.

“It happened to everyone.” Said Patrick surprisingly calm.

Spongebob quickly rushed over to the Krabby patty as if he were a cheetah. He burst through the doors and looked around. It was the same oak wood ceiling, the same newly shined tables, and chairs, even the grill was the same. It looked all the same except for one thing, everyone had peg legs. He walked over to Squidward and looked down, he too had four peg legs. Spongebob was still trying to wrap his head around this peg leg dilemma. He walked to the back to fathom this unexpected event.

“How did life come to this?” Asked SpongeBob

“More importantly, how does Squidward walk with four peg legs?” Spongebob asked again.

“Well, at least I can get a leg up in life.” Said Spongebob jokingly.

Spongebob immediately went into Mr. Krab’s office. Mr . Krabs was nowhere to be found. Spongebob did come across one thing though, a peg leg in the corner. As Spongebob approached the peg leg he heard someone coming.

“Arrrr, what are you doing Spongebob?” Said Mr. Krabs, enraged. Get out of here!

Spongebob did not waste a moment in there. He sprinted out of the Krusty Krabs without hesitation. During his walk home Spongebob was very perplexed on what happened within Mr. Krab’s office. As he walked up to his front porch, he was greeted by the coin once again. The coin that would ruin his life.  He picked it up again and suddenly realized something, he had seen this coin in Patrick’s possession while they were at the Krusty Krabs a couple of days ago. Spongebob burst through the door and saw to his surprise, everyone in town taking off their fake peg legs and yelling, “SURPRISE!”
